Who we are

Vantage is a service of Mario Malik Advisory ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through vantage.mariomalik.com, how we use it, and your choices. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Questions or requests: support@mariomalik.com.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to provide the service:

• Free AI Search score: your website address, name and email.
• Accounts: your name, email and a password, which we store only as a secure one-way hash.
• Starting an audit: your contact details, business details, goals and how your customers reach you.
• Visiting the site: our hosting provider records standard technical information, such as IP address, browser and the pages requested, to run and secure the site.

When we score or audit a website, we read its public pages. We don't set out to collect personal information from them, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies. If you sign in, we set one cookie to keep you signed in.

How we use it

We use your information to produce and share your score or audit, to contact you about it, to answer your questions, and to run, secure and improve Vantage. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for unrelated marketing. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us run Vantage, and only as far as they need it:

• Hosting: Vercel, which hosts this website.
• AI analysis: Anthropic, whose AI models help analyse the public website content we review and, for paid audits, the business information you give us.

These providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers that protect information to a standard comparable to the Australian Privacy Principles. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Storage, security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, and then delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete your account and information at any time.

Access and correction

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or to correct it, by emailing support@mariomalik.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, email support@mariomalik.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Vantage changes. The date below shows when it last changed.
